Range/migration:
White sturgeon is found in North America from Ensenada, Mexico to Cook
Inlet, Alaska. It is rear to find white sturgeon in Puget Sound or Washington.
Food:
Young white sturgeon primarily feed on algae and insects. The
older they get they start feeding on fish, shellfish, crayfish, and
various invertebrates, clams shrimp, and amphipods.
Reproduction:
White sturgeon may spawn multiple times during their life. They usually
spawn every 4 to 11 years as they grow. The females can produce about
100,000 to several millions eggs.
Enemies:
The building of dams.
