WildTech - Community Based Programs

The Wilderness Technology Alliance partners with community-based organizations to provide technology projects and services to needy community members.   The WTA beging by training community center leaders to lead technology service-learning activities including:

• Providing refurbished computers with software
• Providing technology training classes
• Establishing and managing a computer lab for community technology access
• Opening a communiity technology support help desk
• Providing web design services
• more

Community center leaders then operate these programs with ongoing guidance and support from the Wilderness Technology Alliance.   Current community-based programs include:

• Community for Creative Non-Violence (CCNV) - Established in 2006
• East Baltimore Technology Resource Center - Established in 2004
• Jubilee Reach Center - Established in 2006
