At Liberty Bell High School, we are developing a Computer Technology Program. A major component of the program will be the emergence of the Methow Valley Enterprise.  This club will focus on supplying the Methow Valley Community with refurbished computers.

Students involved with the Methow Valley Enterprise will focus on applying technical skills in computer repair, refurbishing, networking and related technologies while supporting technology needs of the community.  The course supports the development of student skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to be successful in post-secondary and career opportunities.Program emphasis and student learning focuses on:

  • Refurbishing
  • Operating Systems & Software Installation
  • Networking
  • Lab Management
  • Project Management
  • Service Learning

Students will also develop leadership, team buiding and communication skills that will enhance “life-long” learning to help them in future pursuits. Ecological sustainability in technological areas will be also be emphasized. Upon completion of the program students may be eligible for articulated community and technical college credit and established computer technician certification programs such as A+.
