Background:
Through reassembling and repair of old products, it is possible to create quality products that can be reused. In conjunction with this, we will provide training and these refurbished products to earn revenue.  It is our aim to provide refurbished computers to families in our community that would not otherwise be able to afford one.  With these two aspects in mind, we believe that computer refurbishing will definitely be a huge success in our community.  

Executive Summary:

It is our goal to use refurbished computers to infuse technology and improve education in our community. 

Target Group:

Individuals/Families in our community that would not otherwise be able to afford the technology (i.e. qualify for free or reduced lunch).  By providing training and refurbished computers to this group, it is our intention to infuse the community with additional technology, improve communication and inmprove the education of our K-12 students.

Program Goals and Objectives:  To provide refurbished computers to individuals that would not otherwise be able to afford them; To provide training in basic computer usage; and to generate income to be a self-sufficient enterprise.  

Outcomes:  

Students will acquire computer-related skills that they can apply to finding jobs, careers, and opening businesses: refurbishing skills, computing skills, software skills, marketing skills.
