Washington DC's Major Technology Recycling Event

March 17, 2011

Bringing a new meaning to “Green” on St. Patrick’s Day, this first annual WildTech-CCNV event provides the homeless of Washington DC with multiple job skills and an income through refurbishing and recycling electronics. Nearly 100 volunteers from the NTEN National Conference "Day of Service" will unload your surplus technology for the homeless to process. Refurbished computer systems provided to low income families. Major partners include DC Government, Cisco Corporation, Federal Goverment UNICOR, NTEN, Capitol Hill B.I.D., Ready, Willing and Working and more!

We need your surplus computers, monitors, printers, empty toner & ink cartridges, and peripherals!

LOCATIONS

The Wilderness Technology Alliance provides valuable technology products and services directly to needy populations through its company owned offices in Seattle and Maryland. It also establishes partnerships with high schools, colleges and community based organizations to proliferate its programs.
